Kherson is known as the city of two ports. Situated on both the Black Sea and Dnieper River, the city is a major shipping center with a trade port connected with over 42 countries throughout the world. There are numerous historic buildings, museums, statues, and universities to visit while exploring the city.

One can also visit one of the numerous open markets where fruits, vegetables, trinkets, and antiques are sold daily.
